That article is wrong. Final Fantasy 6's story is widely considered the best out of the bunch.

In fact everything about the article is laughable.

Given some of your other posts ranting about CRS, I'd have thought you of all people, Mr. Ardith, would be receptive to a critique of game development that isn't "omg necromancerz killin mah mans!!1"

I guess some people just like their whine any way they can get it. Or some FF6 fans just see red when someone prefers Cecil to Cyan. Kefka was definitely the best villain ever though. I won't try to argue that. :P

Oh man, Greldon gone. Odays old pal, And Sineran was the best when I had Ulro. This is a real loss to the mud. I'm sorry to see you go, and I'm even more sorry to see you leave like this.

To many people are leaving lately. -You- will be welcome back if you decide to give it another go, I just don't think you will. Thanks for the good times, we never hooked up oocly, but I always enjoyed playing with you.

Grep, I read your post yesterday, and I thought "ok, leave the man in his own delusion, doesn't matter". But since you insist:

1. It's completely wrong. How can you explain that people who did not even play the great final fantasy's in their times but after that, they find FF6/7/8/9/10 incredibly amazing and find the titles after those completely sucking and the titles before them completely indifferent.

2. Being posted in the specific thread, it's unfairly insulting for a player you don't know crap for. A player who happens to be - maybe - the best respecting, smart and talented player this game has ever seen. Someone who I have not once known to have been lame even in the slightest, a fantastic RPer and someone who also knows how to achieve things in this game without trying to be a grief-giver.

So yes, all in all I will allow myself to say that your post was incredibly stupid and pointless.

Thank you for trying though.

Despite the fact that I haven't interacted with any of your characters for something like 7-8 years, the encounters I had back then still stand out as some of the best ever.

You were awesome, enough said.

Also grep, while I won't comment at all about Final Fantasy, I don't see how saying that some players here suck constitutes golden age syndrome. Especially since it seems as though you define it yourself as whine about crs/mechanics/game changes etc.

I always like my interactions with Lillifi on Ashtaron. As far as I know that was the only character I really played with yours to my knowledge. With that said, you definitely made the game fun for me and a lot of others. Sorry you've lost interest :(.

And grep, I disagree.

Sephiroth > Kefka hands down. Sorry.

Good luck with whatever you do in your life, Sineran. :(

Although I'd had very few interactions with the characters, the standards of the player behind them were blatantly obvious and juggy really says it all. It's a real shame this game is losing the people that could revitalize it only due to some potheads running rampant in a vain attempt to boost their inflated egos even more.
You will be sorely missed, but good luck with whatever you decide to do mate.
And it's hard to forget a shammie as memorable as Bren. <3

Cyan is possibly the worst character in combat. Even making him go last after characters spam spells like Ultima doesn't even make up for the time it takes to get his sword skill to charge to level 7. I do like the character because he is awesome, but he has a lot of shortcomings in actual combat.

And seriously, while I <3 the story to FF4, Cecil is a very one-dimensional character in combat.

I eagerly anticipate the remake of FF6 though.

Ditto. I guess the point of the article is that the remakes are more popular and enjoyable than the actual, new product.

Anyway, that's enough derailment of an afterlife thread for my tastes...

Sorry, OP.

I get confused with people's forum ID's. Is Sineran = Thran? Imbur? What characters did you play?

He played the giant shaman in MC with a four letter name. Started with a b.

Bren
