I'd really love to know what I/my character had ever done to [REDACTED] off the player of Caeserea so much. This was my experience with the CHARACTER of Caeserea -

A very strong personality, a very strong history, and a very enriched, dramatical and romantic life. I mean this in the best of ways. It had always been an honor/pleasure to spend time RPing with Caeserea, and something on a regular basis I had looked forward to, personally. There were great times, and there were awful times. There were emotional times, and there were rather euphoric times. There were things IC that could never be worked out, and as a player I respected that. Arielyn has character flaws. I happen to embrace them. Doesn't mean she gets along with everyone all the time, and in fact, there are times that things go haywire. Such was the case with Caeserea. I even tried along the path to hint and nudge that there were some things I wished to attempt to resolve with her IC directly before going to others - which of course was the wrong thing, and the dead end path Arielyn went down with that relationship. In the end, what went on has left quite the 'mark' on my character, and .. it shows me one does not always have to 'win' or 'get everything they wanted' to feel (and appreciate) the depth of the RP environment.

I really have no idea whatsoever what Caeserea's player has up the bum however. What happened between characters in no way reflected how I felt about her player as an individual. Not once in the whole RP was there a complaint, nor issue I had felt with what was going down. If I had known the player was pissed off/upset and finger pointing, perhaps I would have NOT given the player all of my time and effort.

I'm sorry you had such a negative experience. I wish I had known for how differently I felt about the whole thing. Until the day I was pointed toward an off-site log that displayed your real feelings I had thought we shared mutual respect for each other as players, and I was quite disappointed to learn otherwise. I don't seem to be the one with the attitude problem, regardless.

-Lu Arielyn

Caeserea/Ilkaisha is her characters. That is the way many people play SK - you can spot who they are within minutes of roleplaying with them on their "new characters," and they take everything personally.

Anyone who can have beef with Arielyn has to have tremendous problems IRL, sorry.

Lots of love to Caeserea and Ashwyn (I wish you would've played this one more).

This round is on me: :drunk:

My character has a beef with the character of Arielyn. I do not have tremendous problems IRL. I am sorry to have destroyed your theory already, Algon.

In regard to Ilkaisha, I'm afraid this might be true. :/

I should have written 'player' of Arielyn, my bad for not explaining that (but it's obvious). Of course, anyone might have a beef with the character Arielyn because she protects people, or if your character hates the way she acts, or hates all humans IC, etc. It is another thing to hate the player, rofl.

Yeah, seeing as you NEVER talked to my character, this is definitely a personal jab. Sorry you're an uptight puppy. Leave SK out of your personal issues, thanks.

And an official middle finger to Faerti and Arielyn. Seriously. Get over yourselves. ;)

My characters took as much crap from Suzie's as anyone else's. To the defense of the offended, yeah, when Caeserea punched, she didn't hold back.

But to Suzie's defense, she was consistent with the character. My character got to see a bit behind the mask and understand Caeserea a little better... I regret that I won't have the opportunity to completely patch up the damage between the two characters.

A lot of people know what happened between my character and one of Suzie's... and, to say it here, primary source... dealing with it provided me with a great opportunity to have fun and my character got to know other characters better. Judgments aside, Caeserea increased the activity in the game.

And, really, people. Look at the end of Suzie's comment. See that? A smilie. She, too, has a sense of humor, guys! It took me some big mistakes and taking a few things personally to notice, but... it is there. And, I dare say, it isn't that bad of one, either.

GG Suzie, I'll be missing you. Glad to hear you're not a hiki anymore. :P

Boring.

Why don't all the lighties remake and we can have one big, happy hoedown in Teron?
Might actually get some roleplaying done, too, if you don't mind it all being about beer and "stickin' it to tha man."

Slightly off topic, but can someone please explain to me the point of Afterlife threads? Are they really all like this one?

Caeserea, like many characters, had a playstyle that really doesn't mesh with the way that I enjoy playing SK: That is, with an much larger amount of pure RP than anything else. As such, I can't really comment on that much for the character, as we interacted very seldom (Although I will say that she was very abrasive for a lighty, even for a proud elf).

Still though, I have respect for Caeserea as a long-lived character and as one that wasn't willing to put up with insubordination from what I could tell in my short stint as a Hammer member.

Cat fight.

Ilky v Jennbo/Melon

Will 9 fingers prevail over 10? Let's watch and see.
