There would be a lot of roleplay if SKs combat system wasn't so amazing. Seriously people who played EverWar play this game simply to pvp because the combat system is so awesome.

So one person's actions has ruined your opinion of the playerbase of hundreds? I've had bad experiences with certain players as well, but that doesn't mean that the entire game is ruined.

You make a good point OA. I'd love to see a full and active pantheon. And I've enjoyed the massive GRPs at times, but some of my most exciting times were just those random small encounters where you are taken by surprise by some intimate and creative interaction. I agree that punishment is necessary, a balance between the two (punishment and reward) would be appreciated.

Maybe its just from the side I'm playing, but I don't see it as so much about lewt. But then, I'm also seeing active roleplaying, and a clear drive to get newbies to understand and enjoy the game....

Along the same vein as OA, I've yet to play a game that I've enjoyed with other people where it wasn't heavily adminned. Ban the people that ruin the game and you keep quality around. Do that, and you'll usually attract more quality.
