Well I tried to come back but my first interaction with anybody on my character involved being battered because I picked something up from the ground. Peace.

Clearly you didn't really want to get back into the game. Theft is a perfectly legitimate reason for attacking. Much less one bad interaction? Jeez, grow up.

The light cream primary color of the walls bring out the vastness of this
room, and the various metallic colored glints are highlighted further by the
metals used about the various windows, archways, and doorway leading back
into the street. Additionally painted about the various wall and door
borders is a thick and colorful pattern of deep maroon, green, blue, and
purple. The gentle scents of desert blossoms including chrysanthemum,
chamomile, jasmine, rose, papyrus blossom, and lotus blend and waft through
the area. Small silken arrangements of these flowers infused with oil are
made upon the wooden round tables, in the traditional style. The tables are
arranged with four chairs each, about a rectangular stage area on the
western side of the northern wall. An iron bin rests near the edge of the
stage. Various paintings depicting Zhensh landscapes are hung on the wall
along with a handful of other objects, including weapons. A brightly
painted sign[071909035646pmm is posted on the southern wall.

How stupid are you Osterich? You see a nude character and someone starts dropping mithril equipment, so you take it. Then that nude character starts talking over and over and you don't clue in that it's his?

You looked right at him. You looked directly at him. And the equipment was mithril. Then you get -STUNNED- and decide to come here and slander a perfectly good character when anyone with half a brain might have said; "Is this yours?" Or "I don't speak that."

I don't think anyone is going to buy this you got battered out of the game bs.

Some thoughts in reply -

1. Your character was stunned - to me, it looked more like ICly smacking a teenager over the back of the head for doing something silly (taking something that wasn't yours).

2. In an inn you would have been returned to full health in a very short amount of time.

3. A few seconds after you were stunned, did your character ask why?

4. If you received no roleplay response at all after the stun, did you PRAY for assistance regarding (what you thought) was an attack without roleplay? Did you email this log any immortals?

5. This really didn't need to go to the forums and definitely wasn't a reason to delete the character. Obviously not valid to call sunset on the entire playerbase.

This is a game of conflict - there will always be moments of surprise where things don't go as you expect. Your character will die many times throughout their game-life. Both player-characters and non-player-characters (NPCs) will 'win' fights against you.

But each time your character can return to life and keep playing. If you are lucky you can make it back to your corpse and regain some of the equipment you were wearing, but that won't happen every time. Every other character in the game has been in the same situation many times over. Roleplay and they'll recognise what you're going through and throw you a bone and get you on your way.

I'm sorry. That is a bit harsh. I just don't want people to trash sk for no reason. I don't want new players to think they are going to get brutalized until they quit if they read the afterlife. but yes it's harsh, I'm sorry. Come back and have another go.
