SK Character: Briner, Senach, Myson, others.
Kin... dont leave me! :(

I only interacted with Ix a couple of times, but if you kept on the improvement path I saw you take, then she had to have been good.

It's too bad that you're burned out, but then again, I've taken 3-6 month breaks and now I'm happily playing again. Hopefully that can happen for you.

I thought it was a brilliant and fresh concept. Good luck with RL, man. I hope you can come back.

It's on me this time... Cheers! :drunk:

wow, Kin, Edoras, and Ilkashia. Ilkaisha is the only one who's been around as long as me but these are still some long time players. Quite a week.

I liked Ixencia. To bad you werent' in the hand when I was. Oh well. Good luck in life, glad I had a chance to play SK with you.

I didn't see the violent ending phase of Ixcenia's life, but I thought the succubus aspect was quite interesting. I liked her roleplay, elegant and aloof. The creature she made for the necromancer contest was a work of art, for certain.

Good luck with real life. You will be missed.

You've grown a lot as a player since I first started talking to you. Sometimes we need to take breaks and sometimes we just outgrow the game. You've always been displeased with something or other, but I hoped you'd find a way to come to terms with the game as it was even while hoping for something better. You always seem to make the game so hard for yourself, trying to go so far against the mold all the time. I hope you come back, but only when you're ready and when you're able to enjoy the game.

As far as Ix, to date she was the only character who was ever refused a resurrection from Aneira. That's gotta say something, I'm not sure what. :P

Aneira's pretty spot on. This character continues your trend of growth and maturity as a player. It's interesting to think back to those wee days of YIM conferencing, and where you are now.

I guess I'll add one thing: innovation does not necessitate renovation. That is to say, new and exciting concepts do not need to abandon existing rules or traditions. You have a pattern with your characters where you try and establish an epicness to them via external means. Rather than using actual in-game occurrences as credibility for your character's actions, you often allude to a collection of events that you think would have resulted in the character you're playing. The result is a character that didn't really come across to me as a half-succubus. It was too contrived, and your roleplay did not seem committed enough to make me believe it. I felt more like I was interacting with a short book, than a living, breathing necromancer.

This approach is especially problematic in a game where many players are very quantitative in their outlook. By using so much out-of-game material, you're asking other players to play along with you. Some will, and some won't. Either option is legitimate, and you shouldn't feel hurt or surprised when the latter occurs. What disappoints me is that you then place those players in your "bad player" box, and you don't seek to learn from or understand what they have to offer, because you assume you already have all the answers. At least, that's what I perceive, on this side of the internet.

And those are my thoughts. Take them for what you will, friend.
