I agree. Matching armor is always better. And I have to admit that I go for looks over utility and usefulness.

Can we clean up some of the vnums and make more complete suits of armor? I hate mismatching pieces and would love to seem more completed outfits throughout the game. |

Well that's kind of what I am talking about, there are some nice pieces, but they don't have a full set. I know some mithril and adamantite that would look pretty slick as a full set. |

I'm curious which sets fall into the categories of: "I like this complete set" "I wish this/these item(s) had a complete set" and "This complete set is awful and I wish it was retooled" |

Red sextant armor is not good for the amount of effort you have to put into getting it. Seplechure armor are both nice, need a complete set. |

A group of 3 people can get it in 15 minutes. And it's not bad, it just doesn't have ideal enchants for front row characters. The sepulcher mithril is boring, and is literally not even colored or even interestingly named. It just has "OMG the BEST ENCHANTS". "I would like to see more complete outfits" and "I wish more eq had optimized innate enchants" are different conversations, I think. The game has a LOT of useless equipment, yes. |

Fendrich's set is missing a helmet, semi-decent, it has its uses. Dwarven tanso armor from the the same room is also missing a piece, also semi-decent and good rp armor for a lowbie dwarf. Rusty Mithril set in Everclear lake is missing boots, a couple of pieces are ok, the rest are garbage, could afford a slight improvement imo. The Water set from Cloudrealms is missing some pieces, same as the set from the Tower of Rose. The mithril from the Vaerlain prince with Frisky is only 4 pieces, that area's loot could use a little improvement in general. Also popular summonable charmie Bill Kourney is missing arm piece. Will come up with more. |
