Yes. While I am not sure whether it increases the chance of dodge, it does increase the chance that someone will "miss" you.

It's "probability to dodge", not just dodge. It affects the chance that someone will "miss".

Yeah. Edoras/ardith pretty much hit it.

The "dodge" it increases is not ACTUALLY the dodge skill in your skill tree. If you've ever played D&D, think D&D AC. It's the only spell in the game that affects it besides the bard's songs of protection, as far as I'm aware.

Aggressive and defensive stances modify it too. Though, they're not spells, so meh.
