I had this idea for races that have limited eq slots. Either tattoos, special inks, special dyes or whatever, they can equip these items. They provide 0 in defenses but they can be enchanted. |

I think that the limited eq slots on limited eq slot races have already been taken into consideration in balancing those races. In fact, I think that griffon's inability to wear a lot of enchantments is why they get free attribute points and so many awesome innate abilities, such as toughness, fly, claws, magical/elemental resistance, etc. |
