I haven't spent lots of time in cabals, but it obviously detracts from a player's fun when they're unable to use their special abilities. And since the point of CRS is to getting people engaging each other, but people generally refrain from it, I wonder if this change might help to encourage more CRS without completely trashing the losers fun. Rather than losing cabal members losing their abilities when the relic is taken, members of the winning cabal would become immune to their enemies abilities. Room effects would be treated now just like they were in the cabal, so that winning cabal members could now operate unimpeded through their enemies effects. Damaging skills and spells and those that otherwise mess around with their targets would never land upon members with the stolen relic. Defensive abilities would be completely ignored if your attacker had your relic. And abilities that gave some sort of stat bonus or something of the sort, would not be in effect if you were attacking such an enemy. With this system, trying to regain a lost relic would basically be the same as it now, since the defenders would be unaffected by your abilities. But waiting until a bunch of your allies made it on at the same time wouldn't suck as bad since you could still use your secret knowledge on everyone except your enemy. And this might actually give a better incentive to gank someone else's relic, without running the risk of completely screwing yourself over when your offline and others come to steal theirs and yours, and then you are comepletely devoid of those powers. |

Didn't finish reading, but already found something wrong. I could see Crucie's going around shooting people with something as a way of finding out who is a member of blah blah. That in it of itself is enough for Dulrik to say no. |

A change like this, or similar in style anyways if not in detail, is suggested every month or two. I think if the system was going to be changed from what it is now, it would have been. This specific idea I dislike, but do agree that a change in benefit/consequence to raiding should go into place. |

I love the C.R.S. I'm like the only one I think though. The best suggestion for it though, is to completely remove it from cabals and wholly apply it to tribunals. Have each country have a vault with the relic or something. It makes more since for tribunals to do it over cabals. IMO. I don't care if it does get changed or not, because like I said, I really enjoy it. However, I feel the player-base would be more open to it if it was applied to tribunals instead. (could go into more detail with the suggestion, but not going to waste that much thought and energy on something that likely won't happen) |
