With the familiar system does this mean we are burning through areas faster than normally? I've wondered how much of a bonus the exp is, double? And how does it affect getting to know the area you are training in? Something tells me it kinda hurts leveling in areas due to gaining too much experience. For instance if you normally, hopefully someone could explain how this affects the familiar system when in affect compared to how the familiar system works without this affect? I've just noticed places I could usually gain 3-4 levels before going yellow now goes yellow around 2 levels. |

I am pretty sure firmiliarity is set at a firm number. Like running a marathon. Now bonanaza xp makes you run faster, but you still have to run the same distance. It just means you get there sooner then before. You may think you hit the firmiliarity levels sooner, because you are; but its because you are gaining those levels quicker. |

That is what I thought, so in a way it actually hurts leveling cause you can't stay in a area as long as you could before the bonanza xp. I got bored and made characters on the server and the test server. Same profession same starting area. this server became familiar long before the test server character did. Which kinda blows cause before the bonus exp you could get 3-4 levels before an area goes yellow, now the areas go yellow around 2-2 & half. Edit: Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the extra xp, just really hate this lame familiar system. Too bad the familiar system can't be removed during these bonanzas |

I'm pretty sure you still get the same number of levels before it turns red, the levels just come faster. The bonus xp also makes leveling in red areas less painful |

Just go to another area, there's plenty to choose from. |
