Post subject:  Aura and Priests
Is there anyway to make the aura of the god dictate the way the spells for a priest behave? It seems kind of odd that when a light aura person channels the power of a grey god their spirit is powerful enough to change the power to light instead of grey.

Paladins/Hellions being exempt from this.

I wonder which power you talk about exactly, I mean, I had a griffon priestess of Death and thought the spell was applicable to any aura really (and frightfully amusing to use too).

But, you have a good point. I mean, what if a Lightie priest of Death had a mass effect (and insanely effective) 'Turn Undead' style spell instead?

Ah, goofed that one up a bit, but if there were aura specific spells for grey religions as well, that would be pretty neat.

I'm not meaning to cause any conflict, but, couldn't one say that a grey god is capable of both Light and Dark thus allowing characters to bend their magic toward their aura with no trouble and similar but opposing effects, like Holy Word and it's aura restrictions?

Think of it as a prayer. An elf crusader-style priest would probably pray for the power to STRIKE DOWN THE EVILS, for example. It's a nature of the request, not the deity.
