Would it be possible to add an announcement about bugs in game such as some kind of message for people to see as they first log in. Something like: "Read news 55 to be up to date on the latest bug and punishments." that way the people who don't use the forums are at least warned that something was changed. Then there are no excuses. This could also be used to announce up coming bonanzas and such as well, the IMMs would just have to make a News post in game for everyone to read.

That's the way its supposed to work. Dulrik just hasn't used the news list for that purpose lately. I don't know why not. The motd does tell us to read the news list EVERY time we log in.

Yes. For some reason that just isn't so effective. Have the same issue at work when new policies are posted. *chuckles*

In a past life, logging into another game, when you connected, you'd get a bolded message indicating there was new news.

Is such possible?
