I love the energy drain spell.

But edraining NPCs suck serious serious donkey [REDACTED]. ESPECIALLY now that it's gotten harder to level at the level where NPCs can use the spell.

This is your fault you should have worn enchanted armor. I've never been hit with this spell, even with my elves.

I think that the only time I've ever been hit by this spell was when I hit myself with it.

I don't believe I've ever leveled off of NPCs that can cast the spell. I think Dalamar is crazy to be honest.

While Dalamar is, indeed, crazy, don't certain mummies that are good for leveling get the edrain spell? Or a few of the NPCs in a certain mage colony as well?

I've been edrained while leveling, but rarely. Not sure the problem is big enough to warrant attention.
