How much more damage does dwarves do with axes with their innate damage modifier? Do the do as much damage as a medium sized race? Or perhaps even a large sized one? Thanks in advance ![]() |

Oh, and another question now that I created this thread. When spells are brewed my understanding is that the strength depends on the flask it is brewed in. How much less efficient is the different vials compared to a GM/Champion spell? When a spell is cast on another char, what level would I have to be before my spell is underpowered, strong and overpowered? |

Apprentice/expert/champion would be a fair bet. Something along those lines. |

Dwarves get innate axe skill with enhanced speed and accuracy -not damage. They do less damage than larger races, but it is not as bad since the last few updates tweaked combat. |

The strength of a brewed spell is the flask's level or the brewer's level - whichever is lower. If you are GM and have GM flask, the spell's power should be GM. |

Perhaps Dulrik would come with some numbers? Is it 10% less than a medium sized race or 15%? It would really be nice to know, I think a lot of people are avoiding small/tiny sized races because of the poor melee capabilities. |

I doubt Dulrik will put out any numbers or percentages. That would go against the "numbers-free" environment he wants. As to damage output, dwarves tend to be rather strong so their neg in stature is at least partially made up for, if not wholly overcome, by their pos in strength. |

You are right about strength but everyone and their mother has access to GS herbs/vials/thingies so that doesnt count as much (which is why I think access to spells from other professions should be severly limited in order to make each profession unique again). I was thinking a dwarf with str 20 and a human with str 20, what is the difference... Someone must have made some tests atleast... |
