After laughing at the fatigue log in GD, something occured to me. What if priests/shamans/healers could auto-glance or check their heal target after each cast? That is, have a triggerable auto command that checks their target's status after each casting. I think it could help healers decide how many more heals to stack on a party member, etc. without wasting the time to type info all the time. For example: Code: [HP:94%] [ME: 99%] [PE:100%]
c 'cure light' You start to concentrate. [HP:94%] [ME: 99%] [PE:100%] You utter the words, 'judicandus dies'. You feel better! Overall, you have a few scratches. [HP:97%] [ME: 97%] [PE:100%] Thoughts? |

While I agree this would be a good idea, it is already accomplishable through aliases. Zmud is a popular client so a quick alias formula for Zmud would be... Code: #AL {heal} {cast 'heal' %1; glance %1}
That should heal your target, and immediately glance at them afterwards, showing you how hurt they are without all the description/equipment spam. |

Here's an idea sort of on those lines. Give them "healing messages", which is essentially a damage message in reverse. under 25% Your healing abilities bring XXX a little further away from death's door. Under 50% Your healing abilities cause some of XXX's critical wounds to seal themselves. Uncer 75% Your healing abilities manifest themselves, and XXX looks marginally better. Under 100% Your healing abilities leave XXX in a nearly perfect state of health. |
