IDEA:

I know that some money from you goes to the tribunal when you go to jail and it gets confiscated...but I was wondering if we could make the jail experience even more interesting. When you lose everything from going to jail, there should be a place (Albeit, perhaps next to the judge or something)
where the stuff goes, instead of junked.

It would make sense because:

1. I don't get why guards would just destroy your things when they themselves could use the armor.
2. This crate would be out in public view, it would quite literally be up for grabs by anyone. IE: "Serves you right for breaking the law. Learn your lesson".
3. It would be a great bartering chip for the Tribunal if they sat next to the judge with your armor you lost. IE: Do this and I'll give you these back.

Just an idea.

I thought about this for the longest time and really don't see why it wouldn't be put in game.

Perhaps it should just be put in the tribunal's armory.

If something like this was going to be put it, the most logical thing would be for the guards to TAKE (meaning it gets put in the Trib's HQ) your stuff, not put it in a bin where everyone can get it. You could just have a friend walk up and get all your stuff. :/

How would that work in Sith though? I thought Sith didn't have an HQ still.

It should go into a repository. Not directly into the enemy hq, but be somewhere out in the open but guarded, that it can be retrieved from. Guards there should also not be orderable. Otherwise you'll have some evil-aura zappy items just sitting there from an incarceration, and that would be stupid.

I imagine it would be in a chest, in a locked room, and the judge of each jail holds the key to that room (maybe even the same actual key as the jail cell?).

If you're going to bust someone out of jail, you usually get their stuff at the same time. Seems absurd ICly to break your way into one the city's most defended buildings just to get some equipment...

By making the key to the equipment the same as the key to the jail cell, you're going to have more problems of tribunal members attacking their own judges to get the key.

Then its simple. Allow Trib members open their own safes.
