Post subject:  Poems, stories and songs...

I am currently working on the Taslamar Collegium and I am changing most of the NPCs in there in attempts to give them a little more character. With this in mind, I thought I would extend an invitation to you to write songs, stories or poems so that a bard can amuse the public upon request.

If you are interested in writing something please submit your written work to my email at algorab.sk@gmail.com.
You have a two week deadline from this date and please keep your poems/stories/songs reasonable in length.

Thank you.

Can they be bawdy songs concerning a dwarf and his love for a sheep because it reminds him of his hairy second wife?

Or the love of a dwarf for a yeti, those being hairy and all.

"She were tall as a tree, an hairier than me
Mah sweet little yeti lass
She were strong as an ox, an I stood on a box
to tap that sweet yeti @#$"

you know...somethign like that

Borne of the fair land Taslamar was Fayne,
Before his sword and prayer were thousands slain,

...that's as far as I got. :)

Youngsters should watch out
Empire's troops will kill them all
And not tell them why.

City of Exile
Used to sell mauls
Helped all the newbs
Give width to their balls

But now they've got none
The shops have run out
The City of Exile
Has lost all it's clout.

So move away now
Abadon the streets
It's got nothing to offer
Except my sweet beats.

A taslamaran bard implodes.

Are there any restrictions as far as material? For instance, could this bard, in the same day, be asked to sing a happy, chipper, feel-good song, as well as a everyone-is-going-to-die-and-burn song? (Please say yes)

Celebrate the wind of freedom
that arose from the east.
Hail to the glorious kingdom
of men who raised their fist.

Taslamar, beloved mother
of those who broke free
beautiful as no other
as far as the eye can see.

Adorning your vast valleys
as one can see and smile
stands proud and glorious a jewel;
the white city of Exile.

I drink to the heart of your men
who fight wielding their blade.
For you I'll give my life
Taslamar, land of the brave.
