Alright, so it probably eventually happens to all of us. You get so caught up in training that you forget how many acid blasts you've had and BOOM! there goes your container or cloak, all dissolved. Or that all important chestplate. So now you have to go back to town to get it repaired, and the more damage, the more cost it is to repair it, which gets expensive, and annoying if you're training in a hard to reach area..

So, I propose that some classes get a Repair skill, say mercenaries or scouts or instead, just make it to where people can purchase items to repair their armor on the fly. Magical hammers of energy or needles of mithril. What do you guys think?

Can I vote for a "repair all" command at tailors/blacksmiths instead?

This has been suggested in almost every tradeskills idea that's been posted. I'm certain it will eventually be considered.

I would think it well within the realm of reason that a warlock might be able to repair elemental armors as well. Obviously, not going so far as to say that metal is from the earth and it's elemental, but basic elemental gear of stone, fire, water, and wind . . . I think is reasonable.

Yes. Agreed.

Otherwise.. I would suggest a new trademan class. Different from scouts but similar. Kind of like Priests + Shamans.

GM = repair adamantite :drunk:

I'd rather see existing classes get tradeskills than a weak new class.

Much rather see the tradeskills as opposed to a single class getting all the repair ability. Also if its not to big a stetch could it actually repair wood? I mean there are carpenters and bowers as NPC and they cannot repair a simple wooden bow.

I agree with Ilk on the warlock repair spell thingie, but other than that--are you freaking crazy? Hell no! No [REDACTED] new "alchemist" class, no [REDACTED] new "merchant" class, no repair skill. If you absolutely must, make a merchant/alchemist/tradesman guild, but nothing to do with classes.

And yes, repair all would be very nice.
