As a suggestion to clear up the astral boards, 2 weeks after a character deletes, all of that character's entries should be wiped. Yea? Nay? |

Not as a general rule, there are some that are good RP anchors for years to come. Many could be removed however, good suggestion if there is a workable non all inclusive solution. |

Two weeks is too short. Characters may not even log on in that time! 6 months would be more appropriate. |

6 Months strikes me as too long. In nearly every case, I can't remember characters from six months ago. But re-looking, 2 weeks is too short. 2 months? After that, surely any note will be lost, buried underneath whatever comes afterward. All of this is speculation, of course. |

The point remains: Can someone please clean up the astral boards? Its silly to have to hit enter two or three times even with max screen-spamming when using note list. |

I think a general rule of thumb should be as follows: If a note no longer serves any purpose, the player should remove it. Granted, the player probably feels the note should be there considerably longer than any other player, and thats okay. However, an active IMM should clean up all noteboards every 3-6 months. sleeper |

My suggestion would be to delete any post over 6 months old on the astral boards. |

Last time we brought this up, weren't they going to be archived? |

I don't know how hard it would be to code, but could it make it in the form of a book that only keeps the latest 50 posts (arbitrary number) or so on the first page and then you can keep going back by something like: list 1 or list (newest 50 or so posts) list 2, list 3, and so forth. |

Why not just archive them into books and place them in the libararies? |
