I've noticed that the private rooms in the inns do not have the rejuvenation bonuses that the common rooms do. This doesn't quite make sense to me, because theoretically, shouldn't the actual rooms in and inn be more comfortable than the lobby? I propose that the private rooms of the inns should be given the faster recovery bonus to HP, ME, and PE. Here's the good things that would come out of this change that I've seen thus far: the money used to buy private room keys would keep kingdoms out of recessions, also, the change would provide a safe place for characters to recover so that they won't be PKed while sleeping in the lobbies of inns. People often complain about being attacked, stolen from, even PKed by groups while they were sleeping in an inn to recover more quickly, but no more! Make safe our slumbers! Give us a place to have good dreams and not wake up every few seconds and make sure the door is closed and conjure faerie fog. Security. That's what the innkeepers should strive to provide. It's their duty to their patrons. It's the least they could do.

Who is with me?

The entire reason we added the rejuvenation bonuses was to encourage people to get together and socialize. So... no.

Ah, reasonable.

Good delivery, though, Manic.

Thank you, dear. I tried.

I would like to hear what other people think though.

I wasn't intending to stifle all discussion. I'm just saying that the feature was put in for a purpose and the suggestion doesn't promote that purpose.

I agree that only the main rooms should have the inn regen bonus, to encourage socialization.

Perhaps the message should be altered to something like "The comings and goings of the Inn put you at ease.". The reason for the Inn regen only be in main rooms is sound, if the message was changed to something similar to above it might make people more comfortable with the real life equivalent reasoning.

As for areas safe from PK no deal. You just encourage hoarding style behavior, reduced interaction and basically game negative actions. Same as the idea of having a bank lock box it just doesnt lend itself to the way the game is best played
