Is there any chance that NPCs can be changed to wield an appropriate weapon as soon as it's in their inventory? It's really annoying when you engage a group of unarmed NPCs only to have them all wield weapons one round into the fight and kick the holy hell out of you. |

They seem like they're in a harsh panic, some replace their weapons, with a thrown weapon. It's pretty funny sometimes. They do weird stuff now. |

Choice of what attack action to use each round is semi-random. Changing their weapon is an attack action, which means the round they do that, they can't do anything like bash or cast a spell. They aren't going to wield a weapon when you give it to them, because that would result in a lot of twinking. They'll only use it in combat and if they decide it's better. |

How would it increase twinking to have a NPC equip a weapon handed to them, if the NPC decides it's better than what they're using? EDIT: Are you thinking about that increasing the NPC's "parryability", maybe? Peace, Bux |

There are all kinds of things that can be done, probably more than I have thought of myself. |

like giving them iron weapons so you can freely level off them with ironguard maybe? |

They'd be smart enough to remove that iron weapon, right? ![]() Peace, Bux |

Yeah, if you have ironguard up, they'll remove their iron based weapon. I've already witnessed that on my warlock. |
