I mentioned this in a different thread, but figured it deserved a thread of its own. Here's what I'd love to see. As it stands now, color codes get counted when considering action/title/<am I missing something else?>. Try, sometime, to have a three-four word title that heavily uses a lot of colors, and you'll find that you go over limit, despite the fact that your original title is very short. (Same with action and ???). Is it possible that the color codes could not be counted in these lengths. There are some really cool stuff I'd love to do with actions and titles, just never could. I'd even agree to having the title/action/?? lengths shortened a bit (I hate to see a bunch of things wrapping around the screen), and would even agree to a reasonable color code limit. ... Or am I the only one that would like this? sleeper |

You're not the only one, but I'm not sure how that'll end up working. Thankfully, Dulrik is smarter than me, but I'm not sure it would even be possible to do this. At least, I could see it being a giant headache. |

I kinda find it fun to have to make your colors as efficient as possible. Maybe that's just me. |

If the color codes are set up the way I think they are, it would take some extra lines in the parser, but it should be a quick fix... At least, if its setup the way I think it is

There were descriptions where every letter was coded. The letters were in a rainbow pattern. (I can't remember who this was, but I think credit was given in the desc to Rebecca for doing the colors.) If you've triggered it, you're doing something wrong. |
