Post subject: | IDEA: Line target in groups |
Am I getting greedy here? Probably. Here's the idea. When in a big group, healers tend to stand by the "info" command. Keep a close eye on the health of your party, heal who's falling. Very basic strategy. The problem comes when combat goes very fast that the lines scroll up very quickly. It's difficult (for me) to count how many lines up or down the wounded guy's HP is, and the count that number of lines up or down the name column to figure out who to heal. Thus, the idea is... 1) Make the list of names in the group uniform, in the sense that line 1 is pos 11, line 2 is pos 12, and so on. (Vacant spaces would shift everything up one) Or... 2) Allow direct targetting of lines. For instance, C Heal L2 would cast heal on the whoever the second member of your group is. Why do I bring this idea up? Because the cushy job of sitting in the back behind rows of meat shields isn't cushy enough. I need it even easier. In fact, if you could throw in a pina colada, and perhaps a heated towel, that'd be super too. |

Thread hijack for a related idea. Thanks, Othet! At the moment it is possible to target group members with F1, F2 and so on. It is also possible to order, give items to, and position them with F1, F2, etc. But it is still not possible to eject using the position code. Could we please get that too? When there are multiple NPCs of the same kind, it is quite time consuming to determine which #.NPC is the correct NPC in a particular spot in the formation. Allowing eject F1 would be appreciated. |

Othet, try turning all your spam options off. it will help condense combat lines immensely. |
