 Post subject: Making death mean something

Why not place a minimum amount of time that a spirit must swim the shores before it is able to be brought back? It would eliminate the suicide runs and make people acctualy consider a fight before fighting, knowing that if they die it will be xx hours before they can get their char rezed. One way I can think of to acctually make death hurt.

This was already solved when it was changed so you couldn't be rezzed before reaching the river.

Isn't dying and getting fully looted meaningful enough to you? Not to mention, there's the shame of getting pkilled/killed in the first place.

No, and I agree with all the above arguments. Not being able to be rezzed before you hit the river, and SD is enough - especially considering that SD STACKS for each time you die before it wears off.

I think this is the best idea ever.

In fact, I think that death should be permanent. The first time you're PKed, that should be it. Finito. Next character.
