I trained the skill as far as I can get it, I looked for an advanced trainer and could not find it.

Problem is I try to persuade a NPC under my level and I fail, like twelve times, each time I fail I have to kill the NPC because they get pissy and try to kill you.

Using persuade gives you lag after use and failure prevents further persuade on NPC, charm allows you to keep casting till you win.

Charm person can be trained to superb and it is a journeyman level skill, it takes quite a bit to overcome it in a battle, it can be cast in a battle repeatedly. You use it quite a bit.

IF you could train persuade to superb or it's learn rate was adjusted so you could acctually master it with some ease it would be good.

So can we get advanced trainers and/or have the learn rate adjusted?

I'm all for a more advanced trainer, but it shouldn't be too easy and...

... creativity is the key here.

Actually, you can keep trying until you succeed, mob-dependent. I'm all for failed charm making NPCs go aggro if it doesn't already.

I can't get very creative when the NPCs hunt my [REDACTED] down.

With some suggestions I started screwing with persuade and I have had it improve like four times already, so I suppose this is the part where I will get off my little soapbox and shut up for a while.

A bard should be able to persuade pcs to delete.

Code:
persuade aase delete; delete
You persuade Aase to delete; delete
Aase has left the game.

Ok Yeah I will [REDACTED] again, the focus of this skill is VERY VERY VERY narrow, it fails quite regularly and it costs about 11-12% for a try.

It is pretty weak as far as a mentor level skill.

Other than a small handful of buffs I haven't found much use for it. VsPC it hasn't landed yet.
