Goblins and orcs seem to be the best choices for new race... minators would be behind them...

For class, Alchiemest...

Can someone direct me to the the topic of discussion where someone apparently built and analyzed the pro's and con's of having a "Alchemist" Class because personally I think a potion maker is the worst class ever.

Instead of a new race or class, I would rather like to see a tradesystem!

The Quickling: The exact history of the quickling has been somewhat obscured through the ages. The first quickling was a sprite who had commited an unspeakably vile act against his brethren. Exactly what this act was is unknown, but the punishment was severe. This sprite, and all who aided him, was cursed; their wings torn out and they were exiled from sprite society on pain of death. These outcasts quickly had to adapt to living without wings; they grew stronger, hardier and gained acrobatic skill that surpassed even the sprites. However, their magical bent was dimished greatly and it is rare to see quicklings practice magic. Quicklings are inherently evil and have a natural emnity towards all sprites (although the degree of dislike can vary from sarcasm to extreme hate).
Able to be scouts, rogues, and swashbucklers.
More STR and CON than sprites, less INT and WIS. Similair CHA. No ability to fly. No innate spells. Innate endurance (being tiny and running/walking everywhere will give you a natural endurance). Possibly innate sneak and infravision.

Innate Skill: Acrobatics: Being unable to zip around in the air or fly to the tops of trees and mountains, all quicklings develop from a young age great skill at acrobatics. They can leap extroardinarily high, allowing them to fight large creatures and they have a great knack for dodging blows. Due to the quicklings unsurpassed nimbleness, they have a greater chance to dodge and parry and riposte blows.

Quicklings should be able to be mercs and barbarians, too, if only because there will be too many quickling swashbucklers given the ideas presented.

And I still want my [REDACTED] GOBLINS.

sounds more like an adventurer class to me. Swashie, Scout, Rogue, Bard, although I -guess- you could give them merc. Barb seems kind of far-fetched, though.

Wow. Quickling sounds like the first serious race suggestion that I'm not really completely thematically against. Sprites without wings.
