What I ment by trolling is that I knew you would be the first person to respond to my comments because you are always on the forums while you play.

Also I bet anyone that if DA was playing the Swashie and he taunted someone and they used that item to exit from his taunt he'd be the one throwing a fit and claiming the item is bugged/broken.

Also it's funny DA's sig is wimp the lewt crusade and that's just what one of his items got, hypocrite?

What's with all the bashing of Dark-Avenger? He is raising a valid point here and made a public question regarding a skill to create some discussion. The real people who are trolling are those throwing random insults and flames, while ignoring the topic of discussion.

My personal gripe with taunt is that fact it is a skill without due limitations and drawbacks. Every skill in sk (for the most part) has some consequences proportioned to the benifit. I do believe taunt is lacking of a drawback. Be it causing damage output to go up on the person they taunted, because they are hitting more strongly now because they are enraged. They get to keep anyone in combat and make their day unhappy, yet have no drawback on their own, since they can flee at will when things do not go well. Maybe reduce the chances of a swashy fleeing after taunting someone, because the nature of the fight. Since the tauntee will be all up in the taunter's face. Or make it have a chance when taunting someone, if another person of the same race may jump in, because they feel insulted by the remarks as well?

I just don't like it as it is now. But that's is just my two cents. I too would like to hear Dulbert's two cents.

I think that the taunted should automatically gain frenzy.

I am actually asking for the skill to be consistent(something that is not happening much to SK lately - read: magma) and working as it is supposed to work. I'm asking for taunt to be buffed in a proper way to correct the code loopholes that allow people to twink their way out of taunt(like going ethereal or generally taking actions with their characters that don't harm the swashie as they should).

And I've made it clear that all these tactics are available to my character, to avoid swashies. But since I can use them when I'm obviously not supposed to(that's the point of being taunted, right?), I consider them a bug in the coding. But because this exists for far too long, I started a thread here to listen from Dulrik himself his vision on taunt and what should happen and what should not, because I might be wrong on what taunt really is.

So I suggest you to go elsewhere, and hopefully visit a psychiatrist to get over your obsession with me. You are just as creepy as ardith.

You would probably get an actual response quicker if you were not so concerned about being snarky and smug. I agree that this is not a bad thing to get an official word on, but your comments about how you cannot wait to rub it in other player's and IMM's faces really make you look petty and unworthy of a genuine reply.

Then again, I am sure you know all that and just enjoy the banter. So have fun, I guess.

Guess what? It's a win-win situation for me. It gets changed, taunt gets totally imba and eventually gets wimped to its very core. It doesn't get changed(or Dulrik and others just ignore this thread), this means you are supposed to twink your way out of taunt in many possible ways, so I was right all along on that other issue and all others were wrong(including some imms). So I'll rub that in their faces, be sure of that.

Apart from that, my point is rather valid anyway. If it wasn't, someone would have appeared by now to give some omgawesome arguments and prove me wrong. Posts from other users like Tragonis or Pushing40 show that others have questions on the nature of taunt also so I must not be as much insane as some of you want us to believe that I am.

Finally, I'm enjoying this thread a lot anyway. No matter the result. Especially from posts with nothing at all to say and just attempt to flame me(and fail horribly I may add).
