I am absolutely against putting items for etherealform in the game since it is the last (read:only) line of defense for spellcasters against ranged combat. Giving a merc a quaffable etherealform potion again would by the last straw and nobody would be willing to roll a spellcaster class anymore because of the fact that you are already doomed to die no matter what. Not to mention that anybody who is ethereal is prone to being bashed. There's really no contest in melee combat against those that do it the best. That's just about an automatic forfeit for ethereal combatants.

Resist elements also would completely neuter a warlock, we need LESS of those types of items in the game because of the imbalance it brings.

Unless of course you installed these items in the iron citadel. That would be the only way I could justify having them in game.

Ironguard I'll be less fanatical about though.

Cyra, you can already get potions of RE and Ironguard. I know, I made them.

Putting in things like that would totally remove any sense of balance to the game.

Warlock brewing, I'm fairly certain.

Cyra is talking about wands/staves/scrolls and the potions/pills you would buy or quest more than brewed ones I think. Brewed ones are the level of the vial and most of them have been wimped. A low level RE spell may reduce the damage but it would not even compare to some of the old RE staves that existed.

Low level RE will completely negate magma spray, so it doesn't even matter. The real spells of a warlock's arsenal, you know the ones that nobody uses because they fantasize about magma spray would get a major nerf if there were high level potions or pills.

I'm against potions or pills though, I don't care about magical devices, and I'm really hoping that imms add more interesting wands in the game.

Potions of RE and Ironguard depend on the lvl of the caster. GM warlocks make GM lvl RE and Ironguard potions. Plus, he was saying that RE and Ironguard are unavailable in potion form. Yes, you cannot buy them, but they can be made. Etheralform, if I remember right, cannot be put in a potion anymore.

DeRashad, anger, anger. Why don't you do what I did when I got jailed for over an IC yr. First one, I rped my way out. Second time, I got broken out. If you are unable to deal with the IC consequences of being banished, then don't get banished. I don't agree with 1yr IC sentences without a limit but I dealt with it. In other words, grow up.

Negative. The power of the potion is equal to the level of the spell from the device you get it from.
