Should the Adepts be replace and if so with what
I want the Adepts to stay as they are 34%  34%  [ 22 ]
I want the Adepts to stay in an altered form 18%  18%  [ 12 ]
I dont give a damn about the adepts 8%  8%  [ 5 ]
I want a deep realms cabal or tribunal to play in instead of the adepts 11%  11%  [ 7 ]
Alchemists as per werttrew's or Dalamars idea 3%  3%  [ 2 ]
Cabal of Ninja style Assassins to counter the lighty style fists 22%  22%  [ 14 ]
Other type of faction I will explain myself in my own post 5%  5%  [ 3 ]

It would really help us "newbs" out in the future if you just kept blatantly rude comments to yourself and provided constructive criticisms but perhaps this is just further reinforcement of my belief that half of this community is great and the other half are probably the biggest douches around.

At least im trying to contribute something where as your posts are empty and a waste of space, but whatever.

First off, I wasn't rude. I simply said they were horrible ideas - having had three adepts, I can tell you those ideas suck, they don't "fit", and they don't even make sense.

sap? Wait, you smack someone over the head, and take their power away? How the hell does that even work conceptually?

Blocking off exits is to easily abusable, and we've actually been over that one before. A sever skill? Heck no!

The only one I could relate to is a "weapon creation", but not under the circumstances you'd recommend.

You misinterpreted me.

The skills i was suggesting werent for adepts, they were for a ninja/assassin cabal thing, because that idea has floated about in this thread(read the title of it). I agree that it is impractical for adepts, but i wasnt talking about that.

Sap comes from another mud I play, and I didnt imply anything about taking mana from one individual to another, it's more like hitting someone on the head with the blunt end of a gun, or pistol whipping, however you'd like to see it - but with a weapon handle. You just disrupt concentration and they lose a bit of mana from being hit on the head so hard.

Blocking? You can just stop someone from coming to kill you in a certain direction, how is that any different than midnight. If anything, it is less powerful than midnight.

A sever skill? A sever/mangle spell certainly isnt enough to attract followers. Rogues have a mangle skill. Whats the problem?

Looks like the poll has wound down to a close. The as is Adepts seem to be what people want, next up would be a darky fist style thing. So from the look of things, we just need someone to step up and really lead the adepts to glory.

you know something about garren + some NPCs + horses + a paladin + clestello taking out like 8 MC and forcing the last to recall
