There are pills of etherealform in the game I believe. Or potions. If not, maybe there should be. Then we can sell them where all the bountymobs live and when a bountymob spawns ethereal, they simply charge the tribunal the amount of the etherealform pills extra.

They should be.

They are not.

and no one hoard the damn ethereal pills if they make it into the game, you don't go hoard up all the mottled rods, so don't go and hoard all the pills up.

They should be no-save so people can't log out with them if you decide to make the ethereal pills.

negative on the ethereal form pills.

They used to be in the game when the apothecary in uxmal was open for size small and tiny races.

They were taken out for a reason.

In exile they have warders who roam around ethereal, so if someone comes running in ethereal, they can attacked and dispelled by these warders. I don't see the point of having rogues opening with a backstab, I was saying, it makes sense for a mage that is decent lvl to walk around spawn ethereal. It would make sense. Also rogues have to be decently high lvl to use scrolls, which the bounty NPCs arent that high of lvl.

Also, since there are no ethereal pills in the game, then once again it makes no IC sense as to why people being attacking by barbarian NPCs.

Gnome makes a good point. Being ethereal means that you don't have to have the risk of being attacked. I only expected to get attacked by other NPCs that are able to go ethereal and a small amount of PCs. For example, when I teleport to halgeir and go south to the abyssal tower, I end up running into templars that while I'm ethereal, I cannot solo. They do too much damage to get that many acid blasts off. It sucks that if I want to go someone I have to get a full group and pet. The point of being a sorceror is that I can pretty much go anywhere. If anyone has played a sorceror they will agree with me that that is their strong point.

I think that this sums up the whole point of ethereal spawners, myself. Personally, though, if you are going to do it, do it right. Make them all spawn rogue with a dagger of the same level and let them backstab like there is no tomorrow then hamstring to make sure they can't get away if they do survive.

Indeed, the point of being banished is they don't want you in their Kingdom anymore due to your actions. So deal with it ICly and stop QQing on the forums.

Those items where taken out, when Dulrik changed the protocoll on unique spells for classes. Same reason stone skin items, resist elements items, ironguard items, and ethereal form items where taken out. And by items I mean pre-existing potions and pills.

1. First of all, this isn't even a recent change.
2. The rationale is that you have been observed prior to the bounty hunters showing up and they have had magical affects placed on them to ensure that they can deal with you.
3. PC abilities are not the sum of all abilities in the game. There are NPCs that can do things and access items that PCs cannot.
4. It's a game balance thing. It's not going to be changed.

Maybe since we've made NPCs smarter versus resist elements and ironguard, and we have ethereal bounty NPCs, maybe those spells should be made more plentiful for PCs in the various magical item forms.
