So far no one has "QQ" about hellions being weak. Mechanics aside this is a flawless idea, and I am still not convinced mechanically that it is a bad idea.
How often is fear used by necro's. I personally do not know because I haven't played for many years and am now just getting back into things. I am willing to bet BoG and Holy Word is used far more. Now I'm not "QQing" about those spells. I think they are fine and a good way to counter the "was" sheer power of the necro's...who are still kinda strong. But those spells are group spells and controls whether a darkie can flee or not...thus pretty much ensuring they'll die.
Also, yes fear would cause the group to break up IF they failed their saves. But it breaks them up, no damage, no death. Fear is not the end all be all. If it was you would see priests walking around with tomes of it all the time and necro's spamming it.
I honestly wouldn't mind hearing what some of the IMM staff feels about this so I can gauge the worthiness of this idea.
