Cyra, you don't ever offer any constructiveness, just always whining about how everything is always ok....and you've been wrong every [REDACTED] time.

Seriously, shut up. You play a fist paladin elf. You have no room to talk.

I know how dispel works, I know this game better than you ever will, hence why I can address concerns.

Necromancers are a very inferior class. Too many vulnerabilities, no benefits, and hardcoded to not have friends.

So <REMOVED> you for trying to derail this thread. A necro should not be a group support like a sorc, they should be a primary soloer like a rogue or hellion.

I apologize to you since you cannot possibly contain your vitriol. Necromancers are fine. They're probably even superior now that controls cost less concentration to maintain.

Before I even played an paladin, I played a necromancer, and a deep-elf at that. I know what I'm talking about as well, since I had something of a 70:1 PK ratio at the time. That's about when I lost interest in the class.

Seriously, just because you don't agree with the points I bring up doesn't mean you have to go out on a 2-year-old tirade. Just face the facts, not everyone agrees with you and you don't have to resort to acting like an [REDACTED] when someone doesn't.

I'll go through a point-by-point analysis of why necromancers rock later.

Certainly though, I cannot imagine why you would want a so-called change that is essentially the same thing that necromancers "suffer" through now. You're just exchanging concentration available with some "dark art" energy pool.

So feeblemind and taunt don't ruin a necro's army. They have too many weaknesses as is.

And honestly, I know what needs to be done. Just because everyone thinks something is right, doesn't mean it is.

Or should I point out the abysmal who lists for the past 5 years as proof of that?

The only thing I could concede to is giving them enchant weapon and enchant armor if they're truly to be the "loners" that you want them to be.

It always has struck me odd that they don't get those spells.

Other than that I think the class is fine because of the sheer wrecking power that they possess in their spellset, and the minions that they get.

Taunt and feeblemind shouldn't be worriesome as it is.

.

I always found it odd they didn't get invis and cancellation myself, since they have detects and dispel.

Stop talking about what feeblmind does to necros! It can be casted ONLY BY ANOTHER NECRO, thus showing us what an "I win" spell feeblmind is, not only against necros but against ANY CASTER CLASS. I say NERF FEEBLEMIND!!!

Wands/scrolls.

If you bring that up, don't ever count ethereal for a necro.

To me it sounds people want a class that doesn't require any skill and kills everything made out of necromancer.

No thanks :)
