Yeah I hate you for that, especially as a delf...Never seemed right to me

I like it the way disarm is right now very much. The only thing that could make it more balancing is if the front-row classes has a lessened chance of disarm. Merc: spec weapons drop on the ground less. Swash: finesse allows their finesse weapons drop on the ground less. Barb: While furied, weapons drop to the ground less. For hellions and paladins, not sure since I don't know their skillset that well

I don't think any other classes are using disarm a whole lot...

That's a good point. If this is so powerful, why is no one using it?

Sorry, but my mind might need to be reminded, can you disarm with a whip? If so, I used to disarm from 2nd row with my bard (way, way, way back) as much as I could, since I couldn't do much else while singing.

I think the problem with disarm is that rarely is it better to do that than spam bash and quaff heal. Quaffing heal is a guaranteed thing, and while I personally hate the bash skill (both as a user and as someone who can be hit by it) there is rarely a better option in combat. Swashies would be spamming disarm like crazy, if they didn't have to spam quaff heal to avoid dying in 3 rounds to a massive weapon.

Disarm is really powerful, but not as likely to land you a kill or keep you from getting killed. Especially since if you try to disarm someone, they are just going to bash you, and then you can't do anything anyways.

Bill is great. And I am 90% sure you can not disarm from the second row.

What you really need is a quaff nerf!

Expert - opportunist (not learned)
