You really underestimate the enchanting process. Well timed enchanting between ticks while using an inn can produce for example four 6/6 pitchforks within about 8 mins, including the time to acquire these weapons.

But as Gilgon said, people are just too lazy.

PS: When I'm bored instead of idling or sitting on my thumb I prefer to go and buff up my law NPCs. At least I do something productive that has gotten CoN quite a few kills and makes the place I'm supposed to protect safer and the life of the attackers harder. Especially now that I can no longer spam c lo. :P

DA. lessening the power of preperation doesn't spontaneously turn the game into a MUSH.

If all that's a concern is the tactics of knowing which weapons to use, fine. Let each tribunal choose what it wants to invest in for its guards, and let the guards have it baseline. Changes can be made at the same rate they're made for guards in general.

If what you really want to reward is time spent, then that has nothing to do with tactics.

The difference between a 6/6 pitchfork and a plain pitchfork is so minimal as to be laughable, just to clarify.

Yeah, you didn't really help Gilgon's argument with your comment about the enchants, DA.

As for the cities, I think that turtled cities turns the mud into more of a mush than if you couldn't equip guards. For example, will I pop into a city filled with armed and armored guards (20-50 per city, lol) and go get some pk? Hell [REDACTED] no. Well, I probably would if I really wanted to, but most folks wouldn't.

It stagnates the game, it stagnates the PK.

Cities aren't "turtled" at all. Trying to find people in inns is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Why sit in the city and have a small chance of dying, when you can sit in an HQ, or some random spot in the middle of nowhere. =/

I have never had any problem finding people in city inns. Maybe they are just trying to avoid you. Nevertheless, people in inns does not mean that a city is or is not turtled.

Because you're a tribunal member and not a cabal member? As for middle of nowhere, no way. I cannot count the number of times I have come across people "in the middle of nowhere" and killed them. Suckers.

No, I'm really not playing with you. And please, stop with the stalking :/

I'd appreciate on-topic comments. Off-topic comments (such as you yet again, Syn) are unwelcome.
