Well, it would only hit me in the [REDACTED] if I was actually going to leave, but seeing how these things will be changed, I'm not concerned about having to leave at all.

This says a lot right here. I can attest (not that in your state my word's going to mean anything to you) that there was rp before this incident - and someone spread the word that your character was not allowed to participate in a duel, for whatever reason. Now, Aliquada DID rp with you. Aliquada DID show leniency. It was a twisted leniency, but it was leniency. It annoys me that you had to go ooc here. If you think something is screwed up, don't post a log here. Send it to the imms. I don't know how many times this has to be said for people to get it.

Let's get this straight. Aliquada is EVIL. She is part of an EVIL faith, lives in a land commonly associated with EVIL. She is probably PRETTY EVIL. What reason would a SQUIRE OF TRUTH (Good!) have to give a symbol, willingly, knowingly, to EEEEVIL? None, unless they were being "special helmet" dumb. Obviously, since she's EEEVIL, she's not going to take your symbol, and unlock a door to joy and joyness for the whole world.

Next - It was already discovered that you weren't allowed to duel. What is she going to do, invite you out for cookies, and discuss plans about how she's going to use what's behind the door for EEEVIL, so can you please kindly give up a symbol? What a huge crock of crap. And a waste of time.

In conclusion, I agree, symbols COULD be more readily available in the game. Not "oh my god" everywhere, like they once were, but a slightly more available commodity available to HFs. And certain doors COULD have other ways of opening them aside from pvp. And Dayamin needs to take a chill pill, and send crap he thinks is messed up to the proper receptacle of crap.

Almost as soon as I did this, I knew I did something dumb. I admitted it elsewhere, but it may need admitting here. What I did was cheap, tactless, and mostly uncalled for. I could have very well taken the advantage I had in order to make this a more fulfilling event for the both of us, but in my shock that the summon actually worked, I lost my head and only thought how to make sure I bagged the kill. That sort of mentality has always been below me. Taking what I consider to be the high road has kept me being a perma-newb, but I'd carry that title proudly if I can carry it with a shred of decency and integrity.

I apologized to Dayamin for using him in a cheap way as a quick fix to a problem I had. Some people may not see a reason to apologize, but I do. I'll continue to focus on ways to be the better player and still end up getting what I want. And that's about all I have left to say on the matter.

My only objection on the matter, would be Aliquada actually landing the killing blow on the lowbie. She could have stunned him for it and send him on his way. BUT Aliquada is evil, possibly diabolic in nature and does not belong to a Honorable faith. She had no obligation to keep a young paladin of truth alive as a matter of fact her RP would demand that she killed you and did terrible things to your body. (it was OOC courtesy that she did not loot you and destroy your corpse) Having said that, and being myself the victim of attacks just for my symbol more than once, I would advise you to take things a bit more lightly.
Ps some of the best moments with my pally, was praying (icly) for a symbol and having one appear with some nifty echos and a blessing. Try doing the same.

As far as the symbol availability is concerned, I would not like then to return on NPCs but as others said, change those doors that demand one in order to open. If someone wants the holy symbol of someone, let it be for RP purposes and not for a key to some nice loot.

I suggest that you do your homework before you refer to my age, or you make a clown of yourself with grand success. But anyhow, the important thing is not my actual age, it's the fact that comes with it; it's not the flames of an adolescent kid that were thrown towards you, it's the flames of a very mature person who grows sick of kids like you who cry "oh, please change this and that cause I can't play like that OR OMG I WILL LEAAAAAVE" (and of course, never actually leave).

In all honesty and all mature thought, and despite my -indeed, impishly teasing- flames, I still believe that I prefer less and less of your kind in the game I play. Take it as you want, it's not like I really care. I do suggest you, though, that you try to look past your nose and understand that this is actually directed to ALL players of your kind: Get over your feeble-minded selves. If we wanted to play a "Tea-party" mud, we would do so. There are supposed to be difficulties that one needs to get around in THIS game.

And to be frankly honest, I do not completely disagree with all the parts of your ideas. I wholeheartedly hate the way you choose to express them, though.

All in all, try not to be a Yana and QQ about things that make a failure out of you and how they need to change or you will leave (omg no!). Try to rationally state your ideas and reasons if you want the rest of us take you seriously at all.

And in conclusion, I apologize for any flames of mine, although you should consider them more like a humorous way to alert you about your lazy behavior. That's all.
