There are few to none immune zones in SK nowadays as I understand, so anyone can be found if you really want to find them.

Very true. As D has said earlier, there ideally shouldn't be any immune places/safe havens on the mud. If any of you know of such a place, inform the relevant KD, and I imagine it will be changed asap.

Why take a problem that is clearly ethical and hard-code a solution?
Hoarding has to do with the char, others do it and others don't. Although this might bring some loot back in circulation (something that the veteran hoarder will get back within minutes) the fear of this change hurting unaware players, makes me stand strongly against it.

If trag did walk into a room full of mithral requested gear. I hope that he junked it. All that does is keeps the newer players from finding better gear from themselves and when they find that they don't have the same skills in skpvp as the veterans, they quit. Hoarding is not an IC problem. It is an OOC problem. It is an OOC problem because the people are hoarding not because of a valid IC reason. They are hoarding because of an OOC tactical reason(I don't want it used against me).

The whole "I don't want it used against me" reason sounds perfectly valid to me ICly, Muktar. Besides, a "hoarder" keeping an item from "falling to the wrong hands" gives his/hers enemies a very very nice reason to actually go gank said guy.

Edit: If memory serves me correctly, the Druids used at some time to "safekeep" the staff of demise in order to prevent its use by Adepts. It instigated a lot of IC conflict and it switched hands many times, effectively dehoarding a lot of people.

Dehoarding a cabal HQ requires more than a mediocre group. Not much more, but more. Take it from someone who tried not too long ago. The outer guardian was nothing compared to the huge hoard of NPC guards that kept spawning. Still, it would have gone okay if the merc leading the group hadn't called a retreat straight into the inner guardian.

That is a lame excuse. That is the pat excuse for why 99% hoarding happens in SK (Ghent is around anymore or it would be lower. Loved the guy, just not the hoarding).

I think we need more shamons to voodoo kill hoarders.

Not so true.

First of all, shaman hoarders laugh at that solution(as I did with my last char).

Also, Hammer chars keep 24/7 secret uber skills that can make them immune to voodoo and laugh at shamans.

Once I am free again, I might roll a new shaman(with deadlier voodoo this time) and try to dehoard any hoarder. Then I'll hoard all the lewt myself, muhaha.

I said "I might", don't bother to reply to the previous comment.

Never said it was brilliant. And in hindsight, I'm not a big fan. I'm just throwing out ideas... Personally, the problem (if you want to call it that) lies with the players, and thats not something the code can easily fix, if it can fix it at all...
