Why should we have to compensate for people using OOC tactics? By that standard, we should also constantly watch instant messages to see if anyone is OOCly arranging an attack against us. We should also use these OOC tactics too, since it's part of the PK game.

I don't see any merit in rewarding people for adjective-matching.

As it is, I disagree with all you lazy punks on this. I don't know how continuing to argue this is going to change opinions, so I'm officially giving up on all of your sensibilities. Mutter away about the use of OOC tactics that distrupt your targeted social/say-based RP. Petition the Imms to 'police' yet another thing you think is unfair. Do all this, and I will just sit back and read your grumblings with mild amusement.

Or just make pet names unavailable to non-owners.

A reasonable suggestion, however I like the idea of people being able to summon my pet for me if I lose it. I usually get sentimentally attached to my pets.

Make it so pets can be numbered like a barcode, make their names numaeric.

I'll be the first to admit I don't use more than the first three letters in any name or adjective when i deal with anything in sk.

That aside, I'm sure any mentor or person that's talked to my bard Silvek, has talked/greeted my camel. (Silvey ... ha beat that)

Now that aside, I'll RP it enough to greet you and tell you that I'm Silvek, and that's Silvey, and something along the lines that he's named after my little brother.

Anytime you interact with my camel after that is your fault. I told you his name... there's really no excuse.

If you're not going to take the effort to type his full name, (3 more letters) are you really going to take the time to RP with me well?

On a side note I find all the interactions with my camel hilarious.

How about I make a Hulking giant and buy the umber hulk. Call myself norte and name my pet norsmen??? would that be considered cheating???
