Hopefully not ban-worthy flames incoming. Just remember not all criticism is always inappropriate, mods!

You do know that you are 100% capable of creating group PK by grouping people up and going to Teron when your enemies are about, instead of sitting in Losache? You play a priest, a class 100% capable of contributing with minimal investment. It's funny because every time my characters have killed yours you are loaded to the gills with hundreds of pounds of scrolls, staves, etc., yet you never brandish or recite them in PK. Maybe you should worry less about collecting loot that you then will worry about losing, and more about learning some basic game mechanics. You have spent the last 3 years begging on the forums for people to tell you how to PvE and PK better, and if going forward you spent some of that effort just getting out and playing the game instead of thinking about playing the game you might have better results.

This idea is bad. Most people other than you think it's bad, for reasons that have been stated. It's pretty self-centered of you to keep insisting it's good.

Worthy flames. I don't camp losache. But I like to keep the joke going from when I did.
I've learned a lot of PvE since I first brough up the wiseman idea. I still think it would be good for newer players. But oh well. "Figure it out yourself, nub."
I do carry staves and scrolls, and all that loot. Often times I panic or misprepare and my tools go unutilized. But that's my own fault.
Fact of the matter is I want to improve at pvp. And I have, in the few instances that come about. It's just slow. I'd like to see other ways to revamp pvp, if my ideas are this awful.

I think the best ways to "revamp" PvP in a way that's achievable would revolve around the following ideals:
A) Re-gearing should be achievable, but not automatic. I think honestly that the current enchanting system does -better- than it has in the past, but I think that extending enchant and consecrate to more classes would be an even better step in this direction, along with making it so that you can enchant stacking saves onto armor.
B) Tribunal-based PvP needs to be more about breaking through gates and checkpoints before having free reign to an area of a city rather than about endlessly trudging through high HP no-damage dirt-kicking NPCs. It's virtually impossible to kill a tribunal member in their city without taunt or being a (REDACTED) because of bounty NPCs. As a result, it's very difficult to find attackers who are willing to fight a battle when defenders have the possibility of defending successfully.
C) PK should be more about who can initiate better and stay alive and less about who can issue commands after prone stances recover. I was against the change to make bash/trip lag the basher when spammed because in the current state of SK, there's a -HUGE- reward for triggering actions on "regain footing" messages for both sides in an engagement. It's also totally impossible to know for certain if someone's triggering if they have any idea as to how to code a trigger. If I were in charge of coding I'd probably implement a "command queue" system where if someone tried a command while prone or tried to bash/trip someone who was prone that the command would stack and execute immediately, with priority given to the bash/tripper.

Ultimately, the first two ideals of making re-gearing accessible and removing the trudging PvE component of PK's current state are the only codified ways to make PK more appealing. After that, it's up to the players to get involved. However, with bounty NPCs making tribunal PK a chore and with the shortage of high-save EQ available, I find it hard to fault players who aren't interested in engaging in an aspect of the game that's ultimately more punishing than rewarding.

Then would you sponsor another Coleseum battles event? Are those usually 1v1? Or can groups do it as well?
I like how everyone loves Coleseum battles but this concept is trashed. The only difference is one is coded and one is Imm sponsored.

Achernar v2.0 designed the area where those are done and he ran all of those events. I'm personally not sure what would go into using that for a bonanza weekend, but I'm happy to do so if I can figure out what's necessary on my end. I'll look into it as time allows.
