There are also bladed horseshoes in certain centaur-related areas in the game. Ever since I came across them I wondered why they did not work like that, and how awesome it would be.

True, as it is, it's practically useless. Why not make it interrupt spell casting or something like that?

That would be pretty awesome for fighting against NPCs, but against players it would be almost useless because most casters stand behind a meat shield. I suppose that would be the required drawback, though.

The bards on this game I used to play make clothes and this reminds me of black leather boots I used to make with studded diamond toes, shaped dagger like. Anyways, I like the idea, sounds fun.

Yeah, but the difference is that casters in real life generally fail at casting their spells. Not enough int, I guess. :)
