Would the Cover command be useful?

I really like this idea. I had a similar thought when I saw "the 300" on the big screen.

It would be good to be able to take cover with in the formation. Cover person in front you in the formation would make range attacks aimed at you have a chance of hitting them something like 50% if they have cover active deflecting arrows.

I think between a cover option and reduced accuracy outside your own room, ranged combat could be balance easily. I like the ability to deflect party member's arrows if they're behind you. Perhaps it could be even added that someone could cover another person, they'd both take damage, but the person providing damage would probably take more.
