Bash already has a delay, smaller for the basher (about 1-2 rounds I believe) than the bashed (about 4-5 rounds). So, it's just great the way it is.

You had quite a bit of time to cut and run before you were in range of some guy that likes to spam bash.

I remember having a discussion something like this with a hellion named Satomi and she commented on how people that spam bashed were easy kills and another person that mowed through her pets before bashing her down scored quite a few kills on her.

I'm not talking about me. This is a wimp of my play-style with my current character.

It's silly I can just type o all bash, cleave xxx, o all bash or whatever and the person just sits there and has to either hack through it (which I've only seen happen 1 out of 10000 times) or just die. The same for anyone who types:

bash
bash
bash
bash
bash

You know I'm right. You're only arguing this because I brought it up.

You're saying wimp, like your character is a natural badass or something.

I did even read the responses.

Bashing has a MAJOR delay.

Tripping has a slight delay, less than the tripped.

Tripping has less delay then bashing because it can totally be negated by flying...while bashing cannot.

Just to reemphasize what I am asking to have considered:

When a person is bashed (or tripped), when they are out of the bashed state, there is 1 round of delay where they can NOT be bashed again.

Grakus Although I understand where you are coming from you are opening up a free for all for all warrior classes to get gimped by spell casters. Your idea needs more to it or a better explanation. For example a defender can just spam flee (or retreat) after the first bash and escape seems lame.

Bash and trip are staple because in a one on one fight you only need a little edge to win the big challenge is to stop your foe from getting away. I could get behind warrior classes and maybe adventure classes getting a skill to limit the effects of bash (but still tie them to the room by a bashed/tripped effect but be about to perform a tactic like dirt kicking/disarm). Considering that 99.9% of casters have at least one NPC between you and them bash vs caster should equal death for the vast majority of cases seeing as they have already had their chance to win.

Grakus would you be so keen on the idea if all spells where wimped according to the fact that casters could get off 10 to 20% more spells per combat? That is all damage spells do 10- 20% less damage and all I win spells are 20% less likely to work.

There is nothing wrong with how it is at the moment.
