If giant strength and weaken are supposedly opposites as the help file suggests, why then does grandmaster giant strength give about +5 (correct me if I'm wrong) and grandmaster weaken is about -10 (again correct me if I'm wrong). I think if you have giant strength up and you are hit with weaken you should basically only lose your giant strength. My two cents.
Furthermore, most fighters who use giant strength have more than 20 STR to begin with so weaken would still be more powerful than giant strength in that respect. Weaken doing -5 would be debilitating, -10 is Overpowered. I can't see how a fighter with giant strength who is most likely at 25 strength gets hits with weaken and goes to -strong-.
(Not to mention the fact that it can be put ON a weapon)
p.s. This is Gameplay, no Flames.

Treefinger, you have absolutely no understanding of gameplay mechanics, at all. This is already how GS and weaken interact.
These spells already work the way you say you want them to. If you have GS, you have to get successfully weakened twice to actually LOSE any strength.
Also, if -5 str is so debilitating, why were you QQing about fatigue being a joke in the other thread you started? (Hint : -5 str is not very impressive.)
