I know any code changes are likely very small and self echo stuff can done inside a client but it you can not "inform" other players of your actions with out breaking botting rules. With the true dream of any dev idea might be simple enough to add quickly of D has any time to work on things.

With the small playerbase currently a command of comfort might be "AFK". Here is what I think it should do, what it could do, what it shouldn't do.

What it should do, echo a command when player activity is visible to the player who is AFK so that they could trigger an alert client side. This would be Says, tells, emotes etc Echo command could be something like "even in your current mental state you detect something." it should be obnoxious colored to draw attention something like flashing bright red.
It should turn off if you input anything into the game after the AFK command.

What it could do echo to the player doing the action to alert them that the player may take extra time to respond to said actions "X is showing signs of being in a daze." for example. It could do this via the action command.

It should NOT make you immune to attack.
My gut feeling is it should NOT do this but, it could depending on sentiment give you a one time "bounce resistance" to kill command to at least let the player know they are killing someone AFK. The "are you sure you want to do this." kind of echo. This is at risk of being abused deliberately or accidently and as the killer could get the passive echo so they could end combat but death is the risk of going AFK.
It shouldnt count the time AFK towards "in game time" as far as item retention/rewards etc.
It should NOT resist the pull of the AFK void.

Again its mostly a "quality of life" thing to be considered to get people available for interaction when it is in their best interest to not be. it could also have the counter effect of having a whole lot of player statues standing around as if you go AFK you are not actively seeking people to interact with.
