Of course, I never even agreed with the initial premise of this thread, that anything needs to be done about junklooting anyway. You lose a fight and lose your stuff? Awwww, poor baby. :cry: Get more later, that's part of the game too. Seems to me that people want all the buffs and bonuses of being a part of factions without any risk. If you wanna be a badass, you are at risk of being PK'd for it.

One should keep in mind also how changes will affect things when we're fighting/killing NPCs, taking EQ from NPCs, and dealing with death while training.

I am glad that you know what I play, for I am quite sure that I haven't played a griffon in over 3yrs. Also, I don't care because I haven't been pked in almost a year.

And to Dalamar, did you even read what I said? I never said that you couldn't loot them. I said that you couldn't use get all.corpse command on PCs. That is all I proposed.

Just to be sure, I reread your initial post (I don't always respond to these threads after I read them the first time through, so I definitely tend to get some of these death/EQ-loss/OMG-stop-PK'in-me complaints mixed up with each other). My response remains unchanged.

Conern that code that may outlaw jlooting to prevent unsportsmanship behavior may also inadverently cause the unnecessary 'punishment' of allies trying to assist/get corpeses to safety/grab and bury corpses, etc. Not sure there is a very good coded means to dissern the difference. Would hope ample caution considered prior to going in this direction, and if taken, significant clarity to the pbase at large to avoid a lot of unintentional fallout.
