You want to do church RP, send a few tells out, and get everyone in a temple or get out there adventuring.

QFT

No global channels.

Is the WHO RELIGION command not considered IC proof that someone is or isn't a member of your religion?

I don't think there is a great need for religion channels, but with the flock and who religion commands, members of your own faith are hardly a secret. A channel wouldn't change this.

I doubt silmar has ever played a Thubanite.

Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that there shouldn't be any religious channels. Seriously. There's no need for them.

Religions generally do jack that merits the slightest attention. Unless they've just built a temple, are inducting someone or there is something IMM-inclusive going on, generally there's not even a sense of unity in the churches of SK.

Yes, I do know what I'm talking about. I've lead several faiths, and been a member of almost every single one. It's the same all around. Unless you've specific reason to, you're not interacting with your faithmembers.

Why would they give religions channels?

I will say one step further. I don't think there is a need for any channels. If a base is being raided the guardian can send out tells to everyone and people can always send tells to eachother. The channels are only used these days to disseminate IC info quicker over an OOC way. There is nothing that suggests that cabal and trib channels are in the spirit of SK.

I disagree.

Tribunal and Cabal channels make sense where there are RP situations happening very frequently and a NEED for communication with every group member.

cb: Come to the whatever-hideout
VS.

tell X1: Come to the whatever
tell X2: Come to the whatever
tell X3: Come to the whatever
emote pants as his mental stamina is slowly diminished.
tell X4: Come to the whatever.

A MASSIVE GUARDIAN HAS BEEN SLAIN..

emote frowns, an exhausted expression on his face.

That is the same logic to why people want to add religion chat.
