I've noticed new naming restrictions put on pets.

Kudos to the IMMs except I can no longer name my horses Petals anymore, but it is a small price to pay for forced non-twinkery.

Good job! :drunk:

I agree. This was one of the little things that drove me crazy. I'm glad to see an end to it.

The problem is that pets are still targetable by partial adjectives. For instance, a horse that can be killed by typing "kill white" would also work white-haired, white-bearded, white-skinned, etc etc players.

While this is a step in the right direction, I think the real solution is to do one of two things. Have pets targeted by the full adjective only (i.e. Kill gh wouldn't kill a ghostfire warhorse, but it would kill a ghostly human). (This would require that some pets be slightly re-done however.) My preferred solution, however, would be to force all pets to be at the bottom of the list in a room. That way, "kill gh" kills the ghostly human, rather than his horse.

Edit: D, have you covered a situation where I name my pet by the adjective of someone I'm going to group with, and he does the same for me?

Your second option is better, sleeper.

I suggest this idea of pets being lower in the list include elementals and charms and such as well. Might put a end to elegant elementalists.

There's no point in trying, because you could just get the pets before joining the group. I think I have made it abundantly clear now though, what is not allowed in terms of naming. If you keep trying to go around the rules, it will be a cursable offense.
