Banishment is fine as it is. If you remove it, we'll have deathmark abuse as we had it in the past. I know if I had a trib leader with deathmark, I'd deathmark every possible enemy of my kingdom at every login(as the system allows you now), hell, I'd even make a simply alias and do a simply trib banish sithara; trib banish arsilan; trib banish melithindlee; trib banish thayian etc etc. You get the point, even if it's a bit outdated.
A few things now about banishment.
Economy is a joke as it is now. I haven't played since Golg, but I was big part of why economy is a joke even now as I saw. I can roll a char, plvl him to mentor and have endless obsidians within a couple of hours. So don't QQ about banishment and how tribunals can be hurt by it. They can't, simple as that. If you cry about economy problems, you simply haven't played SK enough to know a few mechanics.

I think the worst criminal during the time I had leadership of the Peacekeepers was Golg. He drained over 100 obsidians from the bank account in murdering and aiding in the murder of Peacekeeper NPCs that served to protect the nation. He aided in attacks and murders of Peacekeepers and Hammer members, and at the end of the day he was free to walk into Exile and buy a [REDACTED] ton of delicate crystal vials to brew for his team. He was never banished because he never commited a hard coded crime. It's simply astounding that if you can avoid getting reported to the judge that you can still do trade and commerce and walk freely in the country, even though he's a huge enemy.
Oh I loved your endless QQing in leaders' faction.

Thing is, it was a hard coded answer to pardon Glasia's hard coded banishment. Simple as that. Never happened but at the end you were the one QQing about the lost obsidians. I simply aided her in doing hard coded evil things to your tribunal bank account.
Which brings me to my next point...

I could make a priest/shaman and help everyday a group to raid a city and never get banished.
That's what I'm talking about. A priest can simply aid every single raid in a city on mode stun and auto assist off, healing the attackers, then properly wording out when in danger and returning any time to open up a free gate for gate ganks, without ever committing a hard coded crime. Banishment should remain as it is, allowing a banishment for a simple attempted theft or mugging. If this is to be changed, then deathmark should return, on top of banishment for cases of healers and generally classes that hurt tribunals without commiting hard coded crimes(God only knows how many gaters/lockpickers I wanted banished from Krychire as Golg).
On what Morovik says, a priest won't simply sit there and commit any crimes, he won't even come alone, but just dart inside and open a gate for possible gate ganks from remote but still close positions. At least that's what was happening when I was still playing SK.
So the answer is simple. If you can't RP the banishment, too bad for you. Someone will send a log to an imm and you'll get a huge [REDACTED] curse, while the enemy gets a pardon for the unfair banishment. Of course this leaves certain tribs with more power than others(like CoN for example), but who said it's easy to play a lightie full of mercy?
PS: Hello SK players btw.
PPS: Since I had only CoN trib leaders as a player, I guess it's ok to say that evil > good.

Oh the joy of endless merciless banishment. I miss these days.
