A question of curiosity: Does the benefit of maxing stats give culmulative benefits or give gained benefits. What I mean by that is does, for example, maxing con give the chance for extra HP each time you level, or is it more like D&D as you level your con you gain the benefits of the higher con regardless of your level? The reason I ask, is I see so many new players beg for enchants on their gear from any priest/enchanter they find, and I'm curious the root cause. |

to my understanding, (although I could be wrong) your current hp instantly adjusts to your modded CON value regardless of your level. Although I think I could safely say that there are other factors that are taken under consideration while calculating HPs. Thus not all dwarf barbarians with max CON have the same HPs. Now as to why priests are being asked with CON enchanting, well I guess everyone wants to be as tough as they can be during their leveling and before they get the chance to spend their attribute points to con. |

Another reason for the stat enchanting is because there is no reason NOT to now. You can only have 3 pieces of gear enchanted to help your saves(Fortitude/Willpower/Reflex), which leaves 4 non-armor slots for remaining stat enchants. It's something of a waste not to have them enchanting for whatever stats you need maxxed out, or for hp/mana. That's probably the biggest reason. |

CON grants or detracts from HP retroactively according to Dulrik. The other reason would be as Dralan said: There's no reason not to. |

So then, there would be no penalty for someone who doesn't like begging for enchants, to wait until they can apply them themselves. |

Correct, there is no reason other than what others have already stated. |
