Im curious, I made a character today. Fell asleep at the computer. Never completed making the character(feel asleep at the computer); I wake up ready to dive into some Shattered Kingdoms(excited to learn and play the game). but the second it asks for character name I get disconnected. I am thinking this has something to do with while I was passed out CMud continually tried to connect to the mud and now my ipaddress is blocked or something? Any help with this would be much appreciated. :o

Have you tried to make a separate char? If that you can't then you might be on something, if not, there might be something wrong with the char you were attempting to make.

I haven't had the opportunity to type in a character name, when it reconnects everything is normal except before i can type in one letter am instantly disconnected. I can connect to any other mud no problem which is why I have a feeling its an ip problem. After spending some time on your site and doing some research I dont want to play just another MUD, I want to play Shattered Kingdoms. :(

That's really strange. Have you tried connecting from anywhere else?

Good call, I am able to connect to the game via my old laptop. Little inconvenient, but will suffice until I see if this matter clears up itself. Thanks Sargas and Muktar for your help.

I would totally suggest reinstalling CMUD. That's totally bizarre.

OK, problem ressolved. CMUD had a feature autologin enabled with no login or password entered so was disconnecting due to that(I have no clue how that got turned on, never configured the connection just used the default list provided by CMUD); works fine now! Thanks again for the help. :D

I figured it was the client, and that would've been my next suggestion. Glad to see you got it working. :)
