Hello, in a set number of training sessions, if I would like a greater pool of movement points, as well as more regeneration, do I train dexterity or movement? Thank you for your help.

I'm going to have to say that given 5 trains...you're going to get a lot more out of them by training Dexterity. And I'd say Movement trains are a complete waste.

If you are a newbie/still low level, there are items you can get that will refresh you every tick up until Journeyman(I think). Ask somebody ICly, and they should be pretty easily able to help you get them. They're sold in one of the newbie schools.

Movement trains are useful to a certain extent, but there are almost always more useful things to train than movement, so I would not recommend it. Movement is what you would train to increase how much PE you have as well as how quickly you regain PE when you are tired. However, I would recommend simply waiting until you are a higher level because gaining levels will increase your PE pool considerably.

Dexterity is an important stat for every class and should be trained or modded to be relatively high, no matter who you are. It should definitely be maxed if your character has anything to do with melee combat.

I have never played a bard but I have heard that training movement for a bard is not a bad idea.

Some people in the game have helped me get some equipment that gives dexterity. However when I put on or remove them, it does not seem to show any changes to the amount of movement pool. Conversely, adding or removing wisdom seem to show changes in the pool. Why is this?

If my character's dexterity score is at maximum amount attained by equipment, then I can only increase that further by training movement - is this right?

Wisdom affects your ME pool.

Dexterity does not affect your PE pool. Dexterity is a measure of something else unrelated to PE. Having a higher dexterity will make your character more likely to succeed when attempting dexterity-based skills, such as dodge, dirt kick, parry, etc. It will also make your character more likely to avoid getting hit with things like dirt kick. High dexterity will also help you avoid taking full damage from many damage spells, such as magma spray and acid blast.

While at low levels, it can be frustrating to have low PE and need to constantly rest, at higher levels, this inconvenience disappears. That is why most people would not recommend training movement. However, for someone new to the game, training movement (and increasing your PE pool) might be very helpful. It would not be an optimal build from a PvP standpoint.

Also, having higher DEX makes movement costs from traveling decrease.

I would certainly max out my movement trains if I played a mercenary/scout/bard.

Other than that, constitution will increase your overall pool of movement.

For the love of all that is good and holy please don't train move, you'll never get those poor trains back.
